Fiducian
An ASX-listed financial services group. In 2021 we moved them off a 20-second WordPress site they could not edit. In 2026 they came back and we rebuilt it again: 340 pages, 74 advisers, 749 documents, published by their own team.

Twenty seconds to load, and locked out of their own site.
Fiducian is a financial services group listed on the ASX: funds management, financial planning, a platform and software for advisers, and 74 planners across 45 offices. In 2021 the website was WordPress, took around twenty seconds to load, and the team could not change it. Every edit went through an outside agency, for a business that publishes fund reports monthly and announcements whenever the market requires.
We moved them to a pre-rendered site with CloudCannon that year, and for five years their team ran it without us. In 2026 they came back for the next version: more advisers, more funds, more documents, a refreshed design, and a structure built for live editing from the ground up.
Three hundred and forty pages, edited in place.
A pre-rendered Astro site, edited visually in CloudCannon. Pages are assembled from 13 page sections and 27 building blocks, each with its own editor notes, so a new landing page is a matter of picking sections rather than asking us. Editors see the real page change as they type. The 102 articles, the 93 pages and the newsletter sign-ups are all theirs.
The fund collection is deliberately locked to values only: fifteen funds, their sizes and 180 monthly reports can be updated by anyone on the team, but nobody can delete a fund by accident or break its structure. Every image goes through the build's optimiser, and search runs on a static index rebuilt on each deploy.
Advisers, offices and documents as data.
Seventy-four adviser profiles and 45 offices are linked records, not pages someone types out. An office lists its team by reference, so a planner who moves shows up in the right place the same day. The adviser finder uses Google Maps to rank offices by driving distance from a suburb, and the appointment form emails the planner, copies marketing and screens out bots without a captcha.
Then the paperwork: 749 PDFs, from product disclosure statements to annual reports, moved by script and kept honest by a check that runs before every build and repairs any stray path. 366 redirects cover every old address, including the WordPress-era document links still cited elsewhere.

The WordPress homepage as it was before the first rebuild, and the site as it is now. The measured numbers are for the new site only; the old one is gone, and what Fiducian remembers of it is the twenty seconds.

Theirs to keep.
The site lives in Fiducian's own CloudCannon organisation and hosting account. Advisers, offices, funds and pages are files in a repository their team commits to every week, so nothing is locked in a database or with an agency.
