Creative Resort

Creative Resort builds brands for other businesses, from strategy and messaging to visual identity. When they rebranded themselves, their Squarespace site fell short of the new brand. Case studies were hard to lay out, and the template made every change a struggle. A studio that sells design craft was showing its own work through workarounds. They asked for a site made with the same care as their client work, and simple enough to keep current between projects.

The SvelteKit site is pre-rendered, meaning every page is built in advance and served as a ready-made file. It is made from eighteen building blocks (Bookshop components) that the studio combines in CloudCannon with a live preview. Their work has its own section: each case study gets a banner, tags and a page made from the same blocks, so a new project goes online the day it's finished. The blog, the team, services and testimonials are all content the studio edits. Video, carousels and page transitions are part of the build, not add-ons. Every old address sends visitors to the right new page.

Creative Resort is a Sydney creative and brand agency. Its leadership has more than thirty years of experience in brand strategy, messaging and campaign work, and its team is spread across the country. Since we started building the site in April 2024, the studio has published eighteen case studies and twenty-five articles on it. More than half of all changes to the site have been theirs, made through the editor without a developer. As of September 2026, it still runs on what we built.
