About the Project
Cheeky Kiwi Travel runs some of NZ's most popular tours. But their WordPress site with Rezdy's booking plugin was painfully slow—often taking 10+ seconds to load.
Visitors were bouncing before they could even book. The dated design wasn't helping either.
We built a fully custom booking platform from scratch, using Rezdy's API with advanced optimisation—streaming data server-side, pre-rendering pages, and creating a custom cart. Load times dropped from 10 seconds to under 2, often instant.
The team now manages everything through Sanity CMS with live preview, and we built them an AI-powered dashboard to query bookings using natural language.
